Aquilegia hybr. 'Nora Barlow'

Aquilegia vulgaris "nora barlow" is an old but still very popular classic among columbines. It has a graceful upright shape and pol-forming habit, the leaves are medium green to dark green fern-like in appearance. This columbine blooms profusely from May to June with double almost spherical flower heads with pink sepals and sometimes also a touch of green, the flowering period turns white. Nora barlow likes a position in the sun or light shade, does well in any well-drained soil, is very hardy, drought and moisture tolerant.
