Stachys byz. 'Cotton Boll'

A strong-growing donkey's ear with large patches of gray leaves, which erect each other when they grow closer together. The plant does form flower stems, but it seems that the flowers cannot develop because of the strong felt-like hairs. So we only see ears that are covered with woolly balls, through which now and then a small light purple lip flower peeps through.
