Salvia greggii 'Lipstick'

Salvia greggii 'Lipstick' is very similar to Salvia× jamensis 'Hot lips' http://digituin.tuinadvies.be/plant/1494/salvia--jamensis-hot-lips-smicrophylla-hot-lips but remains completely red with a little white in the heart.

The flowers are on black stems.

Moderately hardy to -8/-10°C. And likes to stand on drier soil, especially in winter this is important.

Certainly do not prune for the winter, the leaves protect the plant.

They do well everywhere, especially on calcareous soil as long as they are not too wet.

Are sold per 4.
