Primula bulleyana

Primula bulleyana, called primrose in Dutch, is a deciduous perennial with a rosette-forming habit and small oval to lanceolate medium green leaves that are coarsely toothed. This primrose from China flowers from June to July with dark yellow to orange-yellow flowers that are grouped with 5 to 7 in round to semicircular flower heads. Primula bulleyana likes a spot in partial shade and a neutral to acidic soil, it is very hardy but not drought tolerant, a good mulch layer or concrete mix with light sandy soil is recommended.
