Allium hybr. 'Gladiator'

Allium "gladiator", in Dutch called star look, is a deciduous, not too high upright ornamental onion with small and short grassy, green leaves that are already yellowed before flowering. This giant ornamental onion owes its name to purple-red star-shaped flowers in large spherical flower heads on upright stems. Allium "gladiator" likes a sunny position, a well-drained soil and attracts bees and butterflies. This plant is hardy.
