It is a valuable beautiful ground cover with glossy green-brown leaves.

Plant Ajuga in cool, normal to poor, humus-rich moist soil.

This easy-to-grow plant can be placed in partial shade or sun. If you leave it in the sun in the summer, make sure the soil is always moist, out of direct sunlight, as this can burn the foliage. It is a species that grows even in dense shade.

It spreads quickly by means of creeping rhizomes, even the otherworldly stems are rooting everywhere.
