Mazus reptans 'Albus'

Mazus reptans "Albus" is a low-growing, ground-covering perennial native to the Himalayas. The leaves are small, light green, toothed and oval. They quickly form a dense carpet. Mazus reptans "Albus" blooms from the end of May to the beginning of August, with white, two-lipped flowers with a beautiful yellow pattern. This plant prefers a cool position in partial shade or shade and a humus-rich, preferably moist soil. It does well in the rock garden or between tiles, but also feels at home in the swamp zone around the pond. It is hardy and evergreen in mild winters and attracts bees and butterflies to the garden.
