Iris laev. 'Mottled Beauty'

Iris laevigata 'Mottled Beauty', called blue-white iris in Dutch, is an upright, pol-forming and rhizomatous, deciduous, perennial plant. The leaves are narrow, sword-shaped and colored gray-green. This iris blooms in June and July with large, white iris-like flowers with purple-blue spots. Iris laevigata 'mottled beauty' likes a position in full sun or light shade and a neutral to acidic, humus-rich, moist soil, it can also be planted with its feet in water. This iris is hardy, pest free and disease resistant, it also tolerates sea breeze and air pollution quite well.
