Nymphaea 'Yellow Sensation'

Nymphaea 'Yellow Sensation' is a beautiful and rare, light yellow water lily, which is suitable for the slightly deeper, medium to large pond. The large leaves first appear bronze-colored and then, during the season, turn decoratively darker green, with dark purple to maroon-red spots. This yellow water lily blooms from June to September, with medium-sized, fragrant, well-filled, cup-shaped flowers, with a slightly darker orange-yellow center and the diameter of the flower is 13 to 19 cm. As soon as the flower has finished flowering, the seeds sink to the bottom. Nymphaea 'Yellow Sensation' likes a position in full sun, a water depth of 0.80 to 1.20 meters and a nutrient-rich soil. The plant is very hardy and attracts butterflies, bees and other insects.
