Nymphaea 'Marliacea Carnea'

Nymphaea 'Marliacea Carnea' is a beautiful, pink water lily for the medium to small pond. This water lily blooms from June to September, with medium-sized, vanilla-scented, pink flowers, with a golden yellow center. As soon as the flower has finished flowering, the seeds sink to the bottom. The leaves are large and round. They are light bronze at first, later more uniformly dark green. Nymphaea 'Marliacea Carnea' likes a warm position in full sun or partial shade, a water depth of 0.30 to 0.90 meters and a nutrient-rich soil. The plant is hardy, attracts bees, butterflies and other insects, tolerates sea wind and is also tolerant to air pollution.
