Nymphaea 'Hollandia'

Nymphaea "Hollandia" is a richly blooming, pink water lily, which is especially suitable for medium and large ponds. The plant has large, almost round leaves that emerge purple-red and then slowly turn green. This water lily blooms from June to September, with peony-shaped, gently scented, well-filled, pink-white flowers, with a yellow center. As soon as the flower has finished flowering, it starts to sink to the bottom, after which the seeds can germinate. Nymphaea "Hollandia" prefers a position in full sun or partial shade (min. 6 hours of sun), a water depth of 0.40 to 1.00 meters and a nutrient-rich soil. The plant is hardy, attracts butterflies, bees and other insects, tolerates sea wind and light brackish water and is also tolerant to air pollution.
