Molinia arundinacea

The Molinia arundinacea or Pipestrootje is a beautiful perennial that gets beautiful yellow flowers in the months of August to October. The plant is a sturdy ornamental grass that can be placed beautifully next to the pond or in a rock garden, but also does very well in the border. The maximum height of the plant is about 150 cm. This plant will do very well in a spot in the sun or partial shade. The plant dies in winter. Cut the plant back completely in the spring, then it will sprout again.
