Miscanthus sinensis "Adagio" blooms from September to November, with pinkish-white flower panicles at first, turning silver-white later in the season when the seed matures. This beautiful reed likes a sunny position and a well-drained, slightly moist, moderately fertile soil. Miscanthus sinensis "Adagio" is hardy and once established, also drought tolerant. It tolerates air pollution and sea wind and is disease and pest free.
