Carex morr. 'Variegata'

Carex morrowii "Variegata" is called Japanese sedge in English and is a small, bushy, evergreen grass with overhanging, variegated leaves with a creamy-white to yellow center stripe and green leaf margin. This variegated sedge flowers from May to June with creamy white flower spikes. This grass prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and a well-drained, especially not too wet soil in the winter months. The plant is fairly drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution and is hardy.
