Lonicera nit. 'Ernest Wilson'

Lonicera nitida 'Ernest Wilson' in Dutch Chinese called honeysuckle or goat leaf is a decorative medium-sized evergreen shrub with a broad upright habit. It blooms from May to June with unobtrusive scented ivory-white flowers. The leaves are glossy, dark green and oval in shape. Lonicera nitida 'Ernest Wilson' does well in any well-drained soil and prefers a sunny or partial shade position. This Chinese honeysuckle is hardy, slow growing and does not require much pruning. The violet berries are loved by the birds and the small scented flowers provide good nectar for bees and insects.
