Cotoneaster radicans 'Eichholz'

Cotoneaster radicans "Eichholz" is a relatively small evergreen dwarf medlar, in adulthood it reaches a maximum height of 50 cm but can reach a width of 2 m. This cotoneaster has dark green, glossy, ovoid small leaves. Flowering follows from May to June with small white single flowers, followed in autumn by many large red berries. This dwarf medlar is hardy and can be planted in almost any type of soil, it is often used as ground cover, in planting, on slopes and roadsides. Well tolerates drought, sea wind and air pollution.
