Cotoneaster horizontalis

Cotoneaster horizontalis is a small deciduous dwarf medlar with wide horizontally spreading branches. This cotoneaster has dark green leaves that turn orange-red in autumn. From May to June it blooms with pink white flowers, followed in autumn by many red berries. This dwarf medlar is hardy, can be planted in almost any type of soil, often used as ground cover, in planting, on slopes and roadsides. Well tolerates drought, sea breeze and air pollution, susceptible to fire blight and aphids.
