Viola odor. 'Königin Charlotte'

Viola odorata 'Konigin Charlotte' or as this plant is known in the Netherlands, the March violet is a perennial violet with beautiful fresh green leaves. The height of Viola odorata is about 10-15 cm. The flowering period of Viola odorata 'Konigin Charlotte' with blue flowers is in the months of April-May, the flowers have a strong scent. Viola odorata 'Konigin Charlotte' prefers sunny to partial shade in well-drained soil and then flowers for a long time. Looks very similar to the "common March violet", only the Viola odorata 'Konigin Charlotte' has a stronger scent and when viewed from above the small blue violets are more visible, the flowers of Viola odorata are more downwards.
