Thymus praecox 'Albiflorus'

Thymus praecox "Albiflorus" is called creeping thyme in Dutch. It is an evergreen perennial with a bushy and low habit and light green, downy hairy, aromatic leaves. This thymus blooms in June and July with a true sea of flowers of snow-white flowers. The plant prefers a position in full sun and a well-drained, not too fertile, reasonably dry soil. Thymus praecox "Albiflorus" can be pruned back in early spring and even after flowering, a light trimming is possible. This plant is hardy, drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution, attracts bees and butterflies and is virtually unaffected by pests or diseases.
