Tanacetum coccineum 'Robinson's Red' is called daisy in Dutch. It is a deciduous perennial with a bushy, upright shape and finely divided, fern-like, dark green leaves. The plant blooms from May to July with large, scarlet, daisy-like, fragrant flowers with a bright yellow center. Tanacetum 'Robinson's Red' prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and an airy, well-drained, sandy soil. This daisy is hardy, drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution, attracts numerous butterflies and bees and is disease resistant. The plant is often used in informal gardens, borders and as a cut flower.
