Sedum spurium "variegatum", also called variegated stonecrop or stonecrop, is an evergreen succulent with a carpet-forming habit and fleshy, spoon-shaped, gray-green leaves with a serrated, creamy-white leaf margin and an attractive pinkish cast. Sedum spurium "variegatum" blooms from July to September with pink-red, star-shaped flowers in terminal flat flower clusters. This stonecrop likes a position in full sun and a neutral to calcareous, well-drained soil. This sedum is hardy, drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution, and the plant attracts butterflies and bees.
