Sedum kamtschaticum "Variegatum", also called stonecrop, is a semi-evergreen succulent with a ground covering, carpet-forming habit and small, inverted, ovate, fleshy, gray-green leaves with a creamy-white leaf margin and pinkish hues. Sedum kamtschaticum "Variegatum" blooms from July to September with small, orange-yellow, star-shaped flowers on terminal spikes. This stonecrop likes a position in full sun and a very well-drained, neutral or calcareous, dry soil. This sedum is hardy, drought tolerant and tolerates sea breeze and air pollution, the plant attracts butterflies and bees and has little trouble with diseases or pests.
