Sedum 'Robustum'

The Sedum 'Robustum' is a beautiful stonecrop that grows ground cover. Beautifully colored red and purple flowers appear in August and September. Even in winter, the cut flowers are beautiful. Another reason for the popularity of the plant is that the Sedum 'Robustum' is in the top ten butterfly plants. Because the Sedum 'Robustum' flowers late, there is always a bright color in the garden. Place this plant in full sun or partial shade. The plant is not evergreen. It may happen that the plant grows taller, causing the stems to fall over very easily. You can treat this by raising the plants in May or June to break down the roots, after which you put them back in the ground. In this way the plant becomes less tall.
