Sedum 'Herbstfreude'

Sedum "Herbstfreude", also called stonecrop or stonecrop, is a deciduous succulent with a clump-forming habit and fleshy, elongated, gray-green leaves. Sedum "Herbstfreude" blooms from July to August with light pink flowers that quickly turn dark pink and turn a reddish-brown, copper-colored hue in autumn. This stonecrop likes a position in full sun and a neutral to calcareous, well-drained soil. This sedum is hardy, drought tolerant and tolerates sea wind and air pollution, the plant attracts butterflies and bees.
