Sedum acre

Sedum acre, also called stonecrop or Jew's beard, is an evergreen succulent with a ground-covering, carpet-forming habit and very small, light green, overlapping, triangular leaves that quickly turn bright red in the sun. Sedum acre blooms in June and July with small, bright yellow flowers on terminal flower spikes. This stonecrop likes a position in full sun and a neutral to calcareous, well-drained, dry soil. This sedum is hardy, drought tolerant and tolerates sea wind and air pollution, the plant attracts butterflies and bees.
