Salvia nem. 'Caradonna'

Salvia nemorosa "Caradonna", also called sage, is a deciduous perennial with a bushy upright shape and medium green, oval to elongated, aromatic leaves. This popular sage blooms from June to August with purple-blue, violet-colored flower spikes on black flower stems and may be cut back after the first bloom to encourage a second bloom in the fall. The plant likes a position in full sun and does well in almost any well-drained soil type. Salvia nemorosa "Caradonna" is hardy, fairly drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and some air pollution.
