Phlox 'Delta'

Phlox maculata 'Delta' are fragrant garden plants, flowering from June to August.

They first bloom white with pink in the center that as flowering progresses the flower turns completely pink.

They require well-drained soil, moist and fertile, so give them fertilizer annually, so you will also get thicker flowers.

Larger flowers can also be expected if you pinch out the weaker stems in spring.

They do not do as well on calcareous clay soil, which is why it is better to mix garden peat, compost or sand through the soil.

Cut the stems down to the ground in autumn or spring.
