Iris pumila 'brassie' is a miniature bearded iris, it is a low-growing, clump-forming and rhizomatous perennial. The evergreen leaves are short, sword-shaped and gray-green in color. This bearded iris blooms from April to June with fragrant golden yellow flowers with a slightly wavy edge. iris pumila 'brassie' prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and does well in any well-drained soil type. This miniature iris is very hardy and once established it also tolerates drought well, in addition it tolerates sea breeze and air pollution quite well.
