Hosta 'Big Daddy'

Hosta 'Big Daddy' is a blue-leaved heart lily with a clump-forming habit, this deciduous perennial has attractive, thick, large, puckered, blue, heart-shaped leaves and blooms in June and July with fragrant, white bell-shaped flowers on long upright flower stems. Hosta 'Big Daddy' likes a position in partial shade and does well in any fertile, well-drained and moist soil. This hosta is hardy, tolerant of sea wind, tolerates air pollution reasonably well and is generally disease free. Often used in shade gardens, partial shade borders and Japanese gardens.
