Hemerocallis 'Stella d'Oro'
Hemerocallis 'Stella de Oro' is a deciduous perennial with a compact, clump-forming habit. This daylily has narrow medium-green sword-shaped leaves and blooms in July and August with pleasantly scented, small, golden-yellow flowers, in September, a second bloom sometimes follows in October. This night-blooming Hemerocallis likes a position in full sun or partial shade and appreciates well-drained, fertile soil with a neutral pH. During the flowering season, the faded flowers should be removed daily and yellow leaves may be torn off. Hemerocallis 'mini stella' is hardy, tolerant to moderate drought.
