Rosa 'Pink Roadrunner'

Rosa "pink roadrunner" is a medium sized rugosa hybrid introduced by Kordes in 2003. This rugosa rose from the road runner group has a broad bushy, ground cover form with medium-sized, dark green, dense leaves. It blooms in summer and autumn with rather small, semi-double, strongly scented, violet-pink flowers with a diameter of about 5 cm. Rosa "pink roadrunner" likes a sunny position and a slightly moist, but very well permeable soil. It does well in all soil types. This rose is hardy, tolerates sea wind and air pollution, attracts bees and insects and is disease resistant.
