Scirpus cernuus
Scirpus cernus, syn. Isolepis cernua, called coniferous grass in Dutch, is a very decorative underwater grass with evergreen, fine, bright green grass-like leaves and abundant mini white flowers that tower on thin stalks just above the water surface. Coniferous grass likes a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade and a water depth that may vary from 0 to 60 cm. This plant likes an acidic to neutral, permanently moist soil and can be incorporated well in the filter zone of the pond, although some winter protection is advisable there. Coniferous grass is fairly hardy, tolerates sea wind and even brackish water, is tolerant of air pollution.

This rosa 'Morsdag' is also called sexton rose. This is a special group of roses that stand out because of their stocky habit. In terms of size, the double flowers are somewhere in between the miniature roses and spray roses. Flowering is very rich and lasts well even without cutting off spent flowers. Cytisus praec. 'Allgold'
Cytisus praecox 'allgold' is a medium-sized, semi-evergreen broom variety with a broad, bushy, upright growth, it flowers at the end of May and June with large golden yellow flowers. This broom likes a position in full sun and prefers to grow in neutral to acidic soil. The cytisus praecox 'all gold' is wind and sea wind tolerant and can therefore be planted in the coastal region. Pruning is done after flowering if desired. In the fall, olive-green seed pods adorn this broom. The plant is also very resistant to air pollution, can be used as a solitary, accent plant in the garden or in public greenery.

Thalia dealbata "Red Stem" is an aquatic plant with a tropical look. It has large, oval to lanceolate, gray-green leaves with a fine red margin and a powdery, white underside. The stems are brown-red. The plant blooms from July to September with violet-colored, waxy flowers. These are grouped in long spikes on tall, red stems. Thalia dealbata "Red Stem" likes a warm, sunny position and a water depth of 30 to 60 cm. It prefers good loamy soil. The plant is hardy if it is overwintered sufficiently deep in the winter months and thus frost-free, a depth of 60cm is recommended during these months.

Rosa "pomponella" (syn. "korpompan") is a medium-sized floribunda rose introduced by Kordes in 2005. This floribunda rose has a bushy, upright form with medium-sized, dark green, dense, slightly glossy leaves. It blooms in summer and autumn with small, double, dark pink, pompom-like flowers (4 cm dia.) that are grouped in small racemes of 5 to 7. Rosa "Pomponella" likes a sunny position and a slightly moist, but very permeable soil.

Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata' is a modest evergreen pepper tree with dark green leaves surrounded by a creamy yellow edge. It stands out for its particularly fragrant light pink flowers in the months of February and March, sometimes followed by red berries in summer. Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata' reaches a maximum height of 1.2 m and has a densely branched, upright form. This pepper tree is a spring and winter bloomer and does well in almost any soil.
