Hippocrepis emerus, syn. Coronilla emerus is a small to medium-sized upright broom-like shrub belonging to the legume family (Fabaceae). It blooms long and profusely with small yellow broom-like flowers with a red flag in the middle. The flowering period extends from late April to July.
