Phlomis fruticosa
Phlomis fruticosa is called fire herb or tier flower in Dutch. It is an evergreen perennial with a broad, bushy habit and gray-green to almost silver-gray, sage-like, oval leaves. The plant blooms in June and July with fragrant, butter-yellow, almost dead-nettle-like flowers followed by beautiful decorative seed pods.
